Approving the Mayor’s appointments of Alexander Hungs to a two-year term on the Advisory Committee on Aging.
Body
WHEREAS, Council Resolution 89-2297 establishes the Advisory Committee on Aging and Article V, Section 2 of the bylaws of the Advisory Committee on Aging state that the committee shall consist of fifteen (15) members appointed by the Mayor with the consent of the Saint Paul City Council; and
WHEREAS, there are vacancies on the Advisory Committee on Aging; and
WHEREAS, members of the Advisory Committee on Aging reviewed applications and conducted interviews of interested applicants; and
WHEREAS, the Advisory Committee on Aging leadership recommends Alexander Hungs for appointment as committee members; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Alexander Hungs to the Advisory Committee on Aging for two-year terms ending on August 31, 2026; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the mayor’s appointment Alexander Hungs to a two-year term ending August 31, 2026, as a member of the Advisory Committee on Aging.
