Approving the Mayor's reappointment of Bethany Gladhill, Georgina Chincilla Gonzalez, and Jon Jee to the Cultural STAR Board.
Body
WHEREAS, RES 94-1005 and RES 13-690 state that the Cultural STAR Board shall consist of nine members with two from a large cultural organization, two from a medium sized cultural organization, one from a small cultural organization, one from a philanthropic organization, one from a Saint Paul business, and two at large members; and
WHEREAS, RES 94-1005 and RES 13-690 state that at least four members of the Cultural STAR Board must be residents of Saint Paul with the rest living and working in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, Bethany Gladhill, Georgina Chincilla Gonzalez and Jon Jee are current members on the Cultural STAR Board; and
WHEREAS, Bethany Gladhill, Georgina Chincilla Gonzalez and Jon Jee are serving expired terms and have applied for reappointment on the Cultural STAR Board; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Bethany Gladhill, Georgina Chincilla Gonzalez and Jon Jee to a three-year term on the Cultural STAR Board; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment of Bethany Gladhill, Georgina Chincilla Gonzalez and Jon Jee to a three-year reappointment to the Cultural STAR Board ending December 31, 2028.
