Authorizing the Police Department to enter into an agreement with Camp Ripley for use of the United States Army's advance training facility at Camp Ripley, Fort Ripley, Minnesota.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department Special Weapons Tactics Team (SWAT) has unique need to accomplish its mission; and,
WHEREAS, many of the needed skills require facilities and locations not available locally; and,
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police SWAT will be better prepared to resolve high risk situations;
Now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, the Police Department is authorized to enter into the attached agreement with Camp Ripley for use of the United States Army's advance training facility at Camp Ripley, Fort Ripley, Minnesota.
