Title

Amending the 2025 spending and financing budgets in the Department of Public Works Traffic Warehouse Accounting Unit to fund the purchase of replacement a forklift.

Body

WHEREAS, the department of Public Works Traffic Warehouse stores important and crucial materials used for capital projects and infrastructure maintenance, city-wide; and

WHEREAS, the Traffic Operations Department of Public Works has identified a need to purchase this forklift for the purpose of replacing a forklift originally acquired in 1980; and

WHEREAS, there are expected to be savings in the 2025 spending budget in the Public Works Traffic Warehouse Accounting Unit’s materials accounts that will be used to support this purchase; therefore via

ADMINISTRATIVE ORDER, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, and on the request of the Director of the Public Works Department to amend the 2025 spending budget for the reallocation of funds within existing budgets. The Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the manner specified in the attached financial analysis.
