Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget by adding $774,260 in revenues to the 2019 East 7th Street Safety Improvements Project.

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works plans to complete safety improvements on East 7th Street from Arcade to Maria; and

 

WHEREAS, the project funding includes $499,380 MnDOT financing and $274,880 Commercial Vitality Zone funding; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $499,380 MnDOT financing to the project budget; and

 

WHEREAS, there is a need to add $274,880 of Commercial Vitality Zone funding to the project budget, as per the agreement between the Department of Public Works and the Department of Planning and Economic Development; and

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for appropriation funds of $774,260; now, therefore be it:

 

RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $774,260 is available for appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
