Ratifying Collection of Vacant Building fees billed September 30, 2014 to February 18, 2015. (File No. VB1509, Assessment No. 158816)

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File RES 15-708 accepted the Report of Completion for Vacant Building Fees billed during the time period of September 30, 2014 to February 18, 2015; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on July 15, 2015 to consider ratification of the assessment roll; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council considered and found satisfactory the assessment of benefits, costs and expenses for the services provided; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED, that, pursuant to Chapter 14 of the City Charter, the assessments are hereby in all respects ratified with the exception of the following amendments which will be considered separately:

 

RLH TA 15-323:  400 Bates Avenue;

RLH TA 15-320:  1020 Carroll Avenue;

RLH TA 15-303:  911 Charles Avenue;

RLH TA 15-295:  95 Front Avnenue;

RLH TA 15-321:  1860 Idaho Avenue

RLH TA 15-318:  897 Jessie Street;

RLH TA 15-317:  920 Lincoln Avenue;

RLH TA 15-301:  278 Point Douglas Road North;

RLH TA 15-322: 67 Rose Avenue East;

RLH TA 15-316:  669 Thomas Avenue; and be it further

 

RESOLVED, that the assessments be payable in one (1) installment, unless specified by the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommended amendments.
