WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Shelly Bakken, Premier Management, to a Revocation of Fire Certificate of Occupancy and Order to Vacate at 947 MINNEHAHA AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant to December 1, 2018 for owner to come into compliance with the orders by means of 1) removing windows from the porch; or 2) stopping use of the room for sleeping purposes; or 3) opening up the wall by 50% to the adjoinig room, thus making them one room; or 4) install sprinkler system; noting that non-compliance by the December 1, 2018 deadline will result in the revocation of the Fire Certificate of Occupancy; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
