Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Police Department in the amount of $350,000 for the Intensive Comprehensive Police Officer Education and Training (ICPOET) Program from the Minnesota Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Body

WHEREAS, the Police Department accepted the ICPOET grant amendment from the DPS increasing the award to $350,000 (RES 25-221); and

WHEREAS, the 2025 financing and spending plans need to be amended and activity budget added for these funds; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation funds of $350,000 in excess of those estimated in the 2025 budget; and 

THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor, approves these changes to the 2025 budget as amended on the attached financial analysis.
