WHEREAS, The City of St. Paul desires to ensure that neighbors are notified when exterior construction projects valued in excess of $25,000 of new build for new buildings or major remodeling, including demolition, expansion, increase in height and large additions of 1- and 2-unit dwelling structures are taking place within their neighborhoods, and
WHEREAS, The City of St. Paul desires to ensure that those responsible for the construction are aware of the requirements under the Saint Paul Legislative Code and the Minnesota State Building Code, and
WHEREAS, The City as created the Saint Paul Residential Construction Management Acknowledgement Form as a way to memorialize the notification process and highlight the responsibilities of those responsible for the construction site; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council adopts and approves the Saint Paul Residential Construction Management Acknowledgement Form; and be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council directs the Department of Safety and Inspections to provide a report to the City Council on July 1, 2015 on the implementation of this policy.
