Approving a License Agreement with Ramsey County, on behalf of the State of Minnesota, to allow entry upon county property to evaluate the conditions following the Wabasha Slope slide of April 28, 2018.
Body
WHEREAS, on April 28, 2018, a slope failure occurred on private property adjacent to Wabasha Street, which is a public right-of-way in the City of Saint Paul, causing a public safety emergency which requires the closing of Wabasha Street until the situation can be evaluated by professional engineers; and
WHEREAS, the private property includes property owned by the County of Ramsey, held in trust for the State of Minnesota, and the County has agreed to allow the City of Saint Paul access to the property in the form of a License Agreement and which includes an indemnification provision.
NOW, therefore, be it resolved, that the terms of the License Agreement attached hereto are hereby approved, and the proper city officials are authorized to sign the agreement.
