Authorizing the Parks and Recreation Department to accept the donation of a six-passenger golf cart valued at $10,000 from The Toro Company.

WHEREAS, the total value of the six-passenger golf cart is $10,000, and The Toro Company, a Minnesota-based company, has offered to donate the gently used cart to the Department; and
WHEREAS, The Toro Company has partnered with the City over the last several years through donated equipment, resources, and volunteers to complete various field improvement projects across Saint Paul, including recent projects at Highwood Hills and Dunning Recreation Centers; and
WHEREAS, the six-passenger golf cart will provide a much-needed upgrade to equipment currently used by the Department's operations and special events team to transport staff and guests and will improve operational efficiency by providing additional seating capacity; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council accepts the donation of the six-passenger golf cart from The Toro Company and thanks The Toro Company for its generous gift and continued partnership with the City.
