Authorizing the Police Department to accept the gym equipment donation from Lifetime Fitness.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department received a generous donation of Gym Equipment, with the agreement to take our decommissioned equipment, from the from Lifetime Fitness; and
WHEREAS, the Police Department will use this equipment to enhance our gym by replacing outdated existing gym equipment, Lifetime Fitness will also take our decommisioned equipment; and
WHEREAS, this new equipment will allow our officers to maintain the fitness levels required to effectively serve the City of Saint Paul; and this equipment has an approximate donation value of $14,250.00
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul accepts this donation and thanks Lifetime Fitness for the donation.
