Comments: This is a one story, wood frame and stucco split level single-family house that is vacant, fire damaged and boarded, and secure.This was referred via St Paul Fire Dept. report. House has sustained severe fire damage; has holes in roof, damaged eaves, broken and burned windows, screens, storms and doors, smoke damaged and charred exterior, as well as serious damage to interior walls, fixtures, electric and structural members as evidenced by Fire Dept photos. Detached two car garage has open vehicle doors. Yard has a large amount of refuse, food, fire debris, household items, furniture, appliances, etc throughout yard. There is also a large tree limb down in back yard. Open Category I (Fire) Vb file, SA. Now a VB Category 2. File was opened on 11/26/13.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Property Clean Up services during October 8 to 29, 2015. (File No. J1605A, Assessment No. 168504) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and made payable in one five (5) installment.
