WHEREAS, A2Z Auto Sales & Service Inc d/b/a A2Z Auto Sales & Service Inc (License ID# 20200002129) applied for the Second Hand Dealer Motor Vehicle & Auto Repair Garage license, condition modification increasing the number of for-sale vehicles parked on the property from nineteen (19) to twenty-five (25), and eliminate one handicap accessible parking space licenses for the premises located at 923 University Ave W., in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections sent out the required License Application Notification on February 28, 2024, with a response date of March 14, 2024; and
WHEREAS, in response to the notification, no objections were received, and the Council finds that the application is in order with no grounds to deny approval of the license; now, therefore, be it; and
RESOLVED, the Second Hand Dealer Motor Vehicle & Auto Repair Garage license, condition modification increasing the number of for-sale vehicles parked on the property from nineteen (19) to twenty-five (25), and eliminate one handicap accessible parking space licenses for A2Z Auto Sales & Service Inc d/b/a A2Z Auto Sales & Service Inc (License ID# 20200002129), for the premises located at 923 University Ave W., in Saint Paul, with the following license conditions:
1. The maximum number o vehicles parked on the property at any time shall not exceed twenty-five (25). All vehicles shall be parked in accordance with the approved site plan on file with the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI) dated 01//22/2024.
2. The number of vehicles displayed for-sale and /or intended for-sale parked on the property shall no not exceed twenty-five (25).
3. Vehicles entering or exiting the property shall proceed forward, backing from the street or onto the street is prohibited.
4. The lot must be maintained in accordance with the approved site plan on file with DSI dated 01/22/2024. This includes striping of individual parking spaces, landscaping, fencing, posts, and chain.
5. All vehicles parked outdoors on the lot must be completely assembled with no major body parts missing.
6. Vehicles salvage is not permitted.
7. Vehicle parts, tires, oils, batteries and other similar items shall not be stored outdoors. All trash must be stored in a covered dumpster.
8. For-sale vehicles and/or vehicles intended for-sale must be parked on the lot and shall not be parked on the street or any public right-of-way.
9. There shall be no repair work done on vehicles in the street, in the public right-of-way or on the lot. All repairs must be conducted inside of the building.
10. No auto body repair or painting of vehicles and/or vehicle parts is allowed.
11. Customer vehicles must not be parked longer than 10 days on the premises.
12. Licensee must comply with all federal, state and local laws.
