WHEREAS, on March 3, 2025, 1881 By Lake Elmo Inn Inc d/b/a 1881 By Lake Elmo Inn (License ID# 20240000932) applied for the expansion of an Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) license to the existing Liquor On Sale - 181-290 Seats and Liquor On Sale-Sunday licenses for the premises located at 214 4^th St E.

WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections sent out the required License Application Notification on April 28, 2025, with a response date of May 13, 2025; and

WHEREAS, in response to the notification, no objections were received, and the Council finds that the application is in order with no grounds to deny approval of the license; now, therefore, be it; and

RESOLVED, the addition of the expansion of a Liquor-Outdoor Service Area (Patio) license to the existing Liquor On Sale - 181-290 Seats and Liquor On Sale-Sunday licenses are hereby approved and issued to 1881 By Lake Elmo Inn Inc d/b/a 1881 By Lake Elmo Inn (License ID# 20240000932), for the premises located at 214 4^th St E., with the following existing license conditions:

LICENSE COVERS SUITES 110-117 AND T-204 0 T-206

1.                     The sale, service, display, and/or consumption of alcohol shall be limited to the approved licensed premises area, as shown on the plan on file with the Department of Safety and Inspections (DSI). Any alcohol service outside the approved area requires prior written DSI approval and any additional required licensing.

2.                     Only employees of the license holder may carry, deliver, or transport alcoholic beverages, including containers or packages containing alcohol, between the designated indoor restaurant liquor service area and the designated outdoor patio liquor service area. License holder must ensure customers, patrons, and guests do not remove alcoholic beverages or containers with alcohol from these designated service areas.
