Comments:   There were 3 EC Letters and Bills issued, 11/27/24, 12/12/24, 1/3/25.  Property owner, Robert Lancaster called and stated he paid already by CC on 12/10/24.  After confirmation with Real Estate Office, he paid the Nov 27, 2024 EC because it was paid on 12/6/24.   This one is for service on 12/12/24.  There is also another pending EC, J2511E which is scheduled for LH on July 8, 2025

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Assessment Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement service billed during November 22 to December 20, 2024. (File No. J2510E, Assessment No. 258311) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and

 

WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and

 

WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and payable in one installment.
