Comments: Inspector also issued an Order to Provide Garbage Service on 1/22/16. The inspector contacted service on container, Coolidge, and confirmed with that service had been cancelled. Inspector issued a work order for Parks and was subsequently apprised that property owner had Waste Management for their hauler.
History of Orders on Property: On 11/30/15, 12/18/15, and 1/11/16, complaints received concerning overflowing trash container, garbage on ground, lack of trash service; SAs issued/done by owner. Complaint received on 7/23/15 concerning inoperable vehicle; orders issued/done by owner. Tall grass & weeds letter sent on 7/13/15; in compliance upon inspection.

WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Services Real Estate Section has attached to this Council File both a report of completion outlining the costs and fees associated with Property Clean Up services during January 4 to 28, 2016. (File No. J1608A1, Assessment No. 168529) and the assessment roll including all properties for which these assessments are proposed for Council ratification; and
WHEREAS, the City Council’s Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed an appeal of this assessment and developed a recommendation for the City Council with respect to this assessment; and
WHEREAS, a public hearing having been conducted for the above improvement, and said assessment having been further considered by the Council and having been considered financially satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that pursuant to Chapter 14 of the Saint Paul City Charter, said assessment is hereby ratified and reduced from $448.00 to $224.00 forthcoming.
