Title

Amending the financing and spending plans in the Department of Public Works Capital Budget to transfer funding from the 2021 Wabasha Project, the 2017 Como Project, and 2020 Municipal State Aid (MSA) Contingency into multiple Public Works projects.

 

Body

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works plans to use a portion of the 2021 Wabasha Project budget, 2020 Municipal State Aid (MSA) Contingency and excess MSA funds in the 2017 Como Project to fund the design work for multiple projects in 2021; and

WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is recommending the following changes to the financing and spending on these projects:

 

-                     Transferring  $500,000 in MSA funding from the 2021 Wabasha Project to the 2021 Capital City Bikeway Kellogg Blvd - Jackson to St. Peter Project.

 

-                     Transferring $300,000 in MSA funding from 2020 MSA Contingency to the 2021 Capital City Bikeway Kellogg Blvd - Jackson to St. Peter Project.

 

-                     Transferring $200,000 in MSA funding from the 2017 Como Project to the 2021 Capital City Bikeway Kellogg Blvd - Jackson to St. Peter Project.

 

-                     Transferring $700,000 in MSA funding from the 2017 Como Project to the 2021 Minnesota Ph I Project.

 

-                     Transferring $100,000 in MSA funding from the 2017 Como Project to the 2021 Robert Street Project.

 

WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to Section 10.07.4 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there is available for transfer of appropriation funds of $1,800,000; now, therefore be it

 

RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, upon recommendation of the Mayor and advice of the Long Range Capital Improvement Budget Committee, that $1,800,000 is available for transfer of appropriation in the Capital Improvement Budgets, as heretofore adopted and amended by this Council, be hereby further amended in the Improvements Budgets in the following particulars:
