Approving an Auto Repair Garage (DSIBLAUTO 000403-2025) & Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop (DSIBLAUTO 000402-2025) New Location license application for Tesla Inc d/b/a Tesla (License ID # DSIBLAUTO 000403-2025 and DSIBLAUTO 000402-2025) for the premises located at 2475 Doswell Ave.

WHEREAS, Tesla Inc d/b/a Tesla (License ID # DSIBLAUTO 000403-2025 and DSIBLAUTO 000402-2025) submitted an Auto Repair Garage & Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop New Location license application for the premises located at 2475 Doswell Ave.; and
WHEREAS, on December 10, 2025, the Department of Safety and Inspections sent out the required License Application Notification with a response date of December 25, 2025; and
WHEREAS, on December 12, 2025, the Applicant signed a License Condition Affidavit agreeing to follow all license conditions; and
WHEREAS, the Department of Safety and Inspections received no objections to the Auto Repair Garage (DSIBLAUTO 000403-2025) & Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop (DSIBLAUTO 000402-2025) New Location license application; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the application; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, the Auto Repair Garage (DSIBLAUTO 000403-2025) & Auto Body Repair/Painting Shop (DSIBLAUTO 000402-2025) New Location license application is hereby approved and the license is issued to Tesla Inc d/b/a Tesla (License ID # DSIBLAUTO 000403-2025 and DSIBLAUTO 000402-2025) for the premises located at 2475 Doswell Ave., with the following licensing conditions:
1. There shall be no exterior storage of vehicle parts, tires, oil or any other similar materials associated with the business. Trash will be stored in a covered dumpster. Storage of vehicle fluids, batteries, etc. shall be in accordance with the Ramsey County Hazardous Waste regulations.
2. No vehicles under the control of the licensee can be parked and or stored in the public right-of-way (e.g., street, alley, sidewalk, boulevard, etc.). This includes vehicles waiting for repairs and vehicles waiting to be picked up by the customer.
3. The storage of vehicles for the purpose of salvaging parts is expressly forbidden. Vehicle salvage is not permitted.
4. No repair of vehicles may occur on the exterior of the lot or in the public right-of-way. All repair work must occur within an enclosed building.
5. Vehicle sales is not permitted.
6. Provide maneuvering space on the property to allow vehicles entering and exiting the site to proceed forward. Backing from the street or on to the street is prohibited.
7. Licensee must comply with all federal, state and local laws.
