Body

WHEREAS on March 22, 2023, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 23-17 to ratify the assessment for Excessive Use of Inspection or Abatement services billed during August 22 to September 21, 2022. (File No. J2305E, Assessment No. 238304); and

WHEREAS, the property at 982 Charles Avenue, being described as: University Subdivision of Lots 1, 2, 3 & 8 Hyde Park, Ramsey Co. Minn. Lot 1 Blk 1, with the property identification number 35-29-23-23-0052 was assessed an amount of $159; and

WHEREAS, Department of Safety & Inspections staff made a request to recommend deletion of this fee as the inspector waived the excessive inspection fee and it was sent to assessment in error; and

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It

RESOLVED, that the reduction of $159, plus any accrued interests, be deleted.  Council File No. RLH AR 23-17 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
