Authorizing an agreement between the City and Saint Paul River Centre CVA for the Police Department’s use of commercial space for police operations.
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Department (“SPPD”), on behalf of the City of Saint Paul desires to secure “Exclusive Licensed Space” from the Saint Paul River Centre for law enforcement assembly and training operations; and
WHEREAS, SPPD desires to use the exclusive licensed space between June 08, 2023 and July 06,2023; and
WHEREAS, the Agreement contain provisions whereby the City of Saint Paul agrees to indemnify the Parties against liability related to injury, death or damage to property as a result of SPPD’s activities; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that SPPD;s use of the exclusive licensed space will assist SPPD’s efforts to provide effective law enforcement services for local citizens; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the proper city officials to execute this Agreement attached hereto.
