Authorizing the City on behalf of the Police Department to accept a donation from the Saint Paul Police Foundation.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Police Foundation (“SPPF) is donating $30,000 to the City of Saint Paul, Police Department; and
WHEREAS, this donation will be used to cover costs of Sigma Officer Wellness Project heart health tests for officers, which allows for earlier intervention to prevent heart disease; and
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council, on behalf of the citizens of Saint Paul, accept this donation of $30,000.00 from the Saint Paul Police Foundation, and extend their sincere appreciation to this organization.
