WHEREAS, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Pronto Auto Repair, Inc. d/b/a Pronto Auto Repair (License ID #20130001947) for the premises located at 1054 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul was the subject of a Notice of Intent to Suspend License (“Notice”) dated April 5, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that at the public hearing on February 22, 2023, the Saint Paul Council imposed a $500.00 matrix penalty for five (5) license condition violations documented by DSI Inspector during a re-inspection of the licensed premises on November 17, 2022 (RES 23-267); and
WHEREAS, the licensee was given until March 24, 2023, to pay the imposed $500.00 matrix penalty; and
WHEREAS, the licensee did not respond to the Notice of Intent to Suspend License to either pay the Council imposed $500.00 matrix penalty or request a Council hearing; and
WHEREAS, the Notice of Intent to Suspend License stated that if the licensee failed to either pay the Council imposed $500.00 matrix penalty or request a Council hearing by April 14, 2023, that the matter would be placed on the City Council Consent Agenda to impose the recommended penalty; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, the Auto Repair Garage license held by Pronto Auto Repair, Inc. d/b/a Pronto Auto Repair (License ID #20130001947) for the premises located at 1054 Payne Avenue in Saint Paul is hereby suspended for failure to pay the $500.00 matrix penalty imposed by City Council on February 22, 2023 (RES 23-267).
The license will remain suspended until the $500.00 matrix penalty is paid in full.
