Authorizing the Department of Parks and Recreation to accept donations of cookies from Girl Scouts, River Valleys, to be enjoyed by Recreation Center patrons.
Body
WHEREAS, Girl Scouts River wishes to donate approximately 150 cases of various Girl Scout cookies to the City of Saint Paul to provide the Department of Parks and Recreation’s guests and visitors with an enjoyable snack; and
WHEREAS, the City, on behalf of the Department of Parks and Recreation, would like to accept the donation of cookies to share them with the wider community; and
WHEREAS, Girl Scouts River Valleys are partners with Saint Paul Parks and Recreation and are important partners in the community; and
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department has the resources and a plan to share the cookies; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of Saint Paul hereby authorizes the Parks and Recreation Department to accept the donation of cookies from Girl Scouts River Valley, and thanks the Girl Scouts for this generous gift.
