Authorizing agreements between the City and the Metropolitan Airports Commission (MAC), for the Police Department's use of commercial space for police operations.
Body
WHEREAS, MAC is the owner of the real property and hangars at the St. Paul Downtown Airport (“Airport”), as shown on Exhibit A and located at 770 Bayfield Street, St. Paul, MN; and
WHEREAS, The City of Saint Paul Police Department (SPPD) has requested to use space at the Airport for security check-point operations; and
WHEREAS, SPPD has requested to use space for a period beginning May 1, 2023 and ending October 31, 2023; now
THEREORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council hereby authorizes the proper city officials to execute the Agreements in a form and content substantially as set forth in the attached hereto.
