WHEREAS on March 8, 2023, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. AR 23-12 to approve the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during July to September 2022. (File No. CG2204A2, Assessment No. 220114); and
WHEREAS, the property at 1460 Farrington Street, being described as: Edwin M. Ware’s Cumberland Addition Plat 2 Lots 18 and Lot 19 Blk 12, with the property identification number 24-29-23-13-0066 was assessed an amount of $122.78; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff is requesting that this assessment be deleted as Waste Management failed to apply the Unoccupied Dwelling Registration Form to the amount; therefore, it was assessed to the owner in error;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the assessment fee of $122.78, plus any accrued interests, be deleted and is hereby amended to reflect this change.
