Dear Mr. Dermody,

I am writing in support of Stone Saloon's request for an historic use variance, which goes before the city 
council this Wednesday, September 16. I live in this neighborhood -- in the historic Lauer Flats building 
on Western Avenue South --  so I have an appreciation of the vision, planning, and work that has gone 
into the restoration of the Stone Saloon. I commend the owners for their efforts and I feel that their 
plans for the Stone Saloon will be a fine addition to this neighborhood.
