Purpose of Appeal
Installed 4 new double-hung windows but are a few inches short.  Contractor measured window height, not "openable" area - width is good.

Body
WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Wendy Teeters to a Notice of Condemnation as Unfit for Human Habitation and Order to Vacate at 1843 STILLWATER AVENUE, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and
 
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council grant a 5-inch variance on the openable height of the double-hung windows in the bedrooms measuring 19 inches openable height and 29 inches openable width; Now, Therefore, Be It
 
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
