Ratifying Collection of Certificate of Occupancy Fees from April 2011 (File No. CRT1106, Assessment No. 118076)
Body
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council in Council File 11-1181 accepted the Report of Completion for Collection of Certificate of Occupancy fees from the month of April 2011; and
WHEREAS, the City Council's Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the assessment roll, considered appeals of affected property owners and developed recommendations for City Council with respect to those assessments; and
WHEREAS, the following assessments were appealed:
RLH TA 11-270 - 470 Edmund Avenue;
RLH TA 11-268 - 1666 Jessamine Avenue East;
RLH TA 11-269 - 1283 Laurel Avenue;
RLH TA 11-274 - 110 Litchfield Street;
RLH TA 11-227 - 1244 Matilda Street;
RLH TA 11-223 - 633 Palace Avenue;
RLH TA 11-225 - 560 Randolph Avenue;
RLH TA 11-222 - 201 Snelling Avenue North; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public hearing on August 17, 2011 to consider ratification of assessment roll; and
WHEREAS, the assessment of benefits, cost and expenses for and in connection with said services, having been submitted to the Council, and the Council having considered same and found the said assessment satisfactory; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that said assessments be and the same are hereby in all respects ratified pursuant to Saint Paul City Charter Chapter 14 and Saint Paul Administrative Code Chapter 60: Property Service Cost Assessments with the following amendements:
RLH TA 11-270 - 470 Edmund Avenue - Reduce the assessment from $535.00 to $300.00;
RLH TA 11-268 - 1666 Jessamine Avenue East - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-269 - 1283 Laurel Avenue - Delete the assessment;
RLH TA 11-274 - 110 Litchfield Street - Reduce the assessment from $448.50 to $396;
RLH TA 11-227 - 1244 Matilda Street - Reduce the assessment from $390.00 to $200.00;
RLH TA 11-225 - 560 Randolph Avenue - Reduce the assessment from $315.00 to $180.00;
