Authorizing the Fire Department to pay for all costs incurred to hold a Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) exercise on June 30 and July 1, 2011 at the Saint Paul Fire Department Training Facility.
Body
Pursuant to the 2011 City Budget, the proper City officials are hereby authorized to remit payment for the HSEEP exercise expenses not to exceed $1,500.00. This will pay for all costs including light refreshments incurred by the Saint Paul Fire Department to hold this HSEEP exercise on June 30 and July 1, 2011 at the Saint Paul Fire Department Training Facility. The City of Saint Paul received a 2008 Homeland Security grant for the hazardous materials response team to pay for this exercise. The purpose of this exercise is to allow the fire department to evaluate response capabilities to hazardous materials emergencies involving ammonia and chlorine gas.
A copy of said order is to be kept on file and of record in the Office of Financial Services.
