Amending the 2023 spending budget for the Office of Financial Empowerment to reallocate budgeted amounts from services budget to personnel.
Body
WHEREAS, the City Council authorized the Office of Financial Empowerment to accept grants from Living Cities as outlined in RES PH 23-24, and from the Bush Foundation as outlined in RES PH 22-1049; and
WHEREAS, the Office of Financial Empowerment determined the need to hire additional staff to complete work related to the grants accepted; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor, pursuant to section 10.07.4 of the City Charter, does certify there are available for transfer; and now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the Council of the City of Saint Paul, consistent with the authority granted to the Mayor in Section 10.07.4 of the City Charter and on the request of the Director of Financial Empowerment to amend the 2023 Adopted spending budget, the Director of the Office of Financial Services is authorized to amend said budget in the particulars as indicated in the attached financial analysis.
