Approving the Mayor's appointments of Sarah Florman, Jerry Brashier, Rosilyn Carroll, and Nicohle Schluender to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission to a three-year term ending on January 31, 2026.

WHEREAS, Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 102.02 (a) states that the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission consists of nine (9) members appointed by the mayor with the consent of the city council; and
WHEREAS, Human Rights and Equal Economic Opportunity staff and commissioners have reviewed applications and conducted interviews of interested applicants; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Saint Paul Legislative Code Section 102.02 (b), Sarah Florman, Jerry Brashier, Rosilyn Carroll, and Nicohle Schluender have been recommended for appointment to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Carter wishes to appoint Sarah Florman, Jerry Brashier, Rosilyn Carroll, and Nicohle Schluender to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission to a three-year term ending on January 31, 2026; now, therefore be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment of Sarah Florman, Jerry Brashier, Rosilyn Carroll, and Nicohle Schluender to the Police Civilian Internal Affairs Review Commission to a three-year term ending on January 31, 2026.
