Designating Peter Leggett, Chief of Staff, as an authorized signer for contracts made in the name of the City of Saint Paul pursuant to Section 86.01 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Mayor, pursuant to Section 86.01 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code, may authorize by administrative order certain designees to execute contracts in the name of the City of Saint Paul on the Mayor’s behalf; and
WHEREAS, authorization pursuant to Section 86.01 of the Saint Paul Administrative Code may only be extended for contracts that have a stated dollar value of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or less; and
WHEREAS, Mayor Melvin Carter wishes to authorize Peter Leggett, Chief of Staff, to execute contracts in the name of the City of Saint Paul that have a stated dollar value of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or less; now, therefore, be it
ORDERED, by Mayor Melvin Carter, that Peter Leggett, Chief of Staff, is hereby authorized to execute on Mayor Carter’s behalf any and all contracts in the name of the City of Saint Paul that have a stated dollar value of fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) or less.
