Amending the financing and spending plans in the Fire Department for $21,060 for the reimbursement from the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative for the contract for Critical Incident Stress Consultants.
Body
WHEREAS, the Fire Department will be reimbursed by the Minnesota Firefighter Initiative $21,060 for a contract for Critical Incident Stress Consultants which includes crisis counseling, leadership, education, and training for the Peer Support team in the Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, firefighter training is a governmental purpose; and
WHEREAS, the financing and spending plans have not been established for this reimbursement; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor pursuant to Section 10.07.1 of the Charter of the City of Saint Paul, does certify that there are available for appropriation of funds of $21,060 in excess of those estimated in the 2022 budget; now therefore be it
RESOLVED, by the Saint Paul City Council that $21,060 is available for appropriation in the 2022 budget, and said budget, as heretofore adopted by the City Council, is hereby amended as outlined in the attached financial analysis.
