Approving a Gambling Location license to be added to existing licenses for Metronome Brewery LLC d/b/a Metronome Brewery (License ID #20220000010) at 289 5th Street East #104.

WHEREAS, Metronome Brewery LLC d/b/a Metronome Brewery (License ID #20220000010) applied for a Gambling Location license for the premises located at 289 5th Street East #104 in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, The Licensee currently holds a Malt Of Sale (Brewery), Malt On Sale (Brewery Taproom), Liquor On Sale - Sunday, and Entertainment (A) license.
WHEREAS, in response to the October 27, 2022 notification from the Department of Safety and Inspections regarding the license application, the City received no objections by the November 11, 2022 response date to approve the Gambling Location license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the application is in order and there are no grounds for denial of the Gambling Location license; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a Gambling Location license is hereby approved for Metronome Brewery LLC d/b/a (License ID #20220000010) for the premises located at 289 5th Street East #104 in Saint Paul with the following conditions:
1. Per City of Saint Paul Legislative Code 411.02, the definition of Entertainment A is, "Amplified or nonamplified music and/or singing by performers without limitation as to number, and group singing participated in by patrons of the establishment." (includes karaoke). Entertainment A license does not allow for patron and/or performance dances.
2. Licensee acknowledges that the licenses issued only permits the sale, service, display and/or consumption of beer which has been brewed by the licensee on these premises.
3. Licensee shall take appropriate actions to ensure that malt (i.e., beer) beverages sold by Metronome Brewer LLC (other than malt off-sale product purchased for consumption off the premises in approved containers) do not leave the approved licensed on-sale service area, nor that drinks are brought...
