WHEREAS, Gambit Brewing Co. LLC d/b/a Gambit Brewing Co. (License ID #20220001740) applied for a Malt On Sale (Brewery Taproom), Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Malt Off Sale (Brewery), and Malt Off Sale (Small Brewery - 128 oz) license for the premises located at 141 4th Street in Saint Paul; and
WHEREAS, in response to the October 26, 2022 notification from the Department of Safety and Inspections regarding the license application, the City received no objections by the November 11, 2022 response date to approve the Malt On Sale (Brewery Taproom), Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Malt Off Sale (Brewery), and Malt Off Sale (Small Brewery - 128 oz) license; and
WHEREAS, the Council finds that the license conditions are reasonable given the license applied for, the application is in order and there are no grounds to deny approval of the licenses; now, therefore, be it,
RESOLVED, a Malt On Sale (Brewery Taproom), Liquor On Sale - Sunday, Malt Off Sale (Brewery), and Malt Off Sale (Small Brewery - 128 oz) license is hereby approved for Gambit Brewing Co. LLC d/b/a Gambit Brewing Co. (License ID #20220001740) for the premises located at 141 4th Street in Saint Paul with the following conditions:
1. Per City of Saint Paul Legislative Code 411.02, the definition of Entertainment A is, "Amplified or nonamplified music and/or singing by performers without limitation as to number, and group singing participated in by patrons of the establishment." (includes karaoke). Entertainment A license does not allow for patron and/or performance dances.
2. Licensee acknowledges that the licenses issued only permits the sale, service, display and/or consumption of beer which has been brewed by the license...
