Honoring Veterans on Veterans Day, November 11, 2022.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council supports peace in our community and the world; and
WHEREAS, the Saint Paul City Council recognizes the brave men and women of the United States Military that have sacrificed so much for our freedom and peace; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul has employees who are on this very day serving our nation at home and abroad by air, land, sea, space, and cyber; and
WHEREAS, many of our residents of Saint Paul have also served our nation through military service both currently and in the past; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul appreciates our local, state, and national non-profits, agencies, and employers for supporting veterans; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul renews our commitment to the inclusion and retention of Veteran employees in our equitable city vision and honors our city residents for their military service; and
WHEREAS, the City of Saint Paul established the Veterans Employee Resource Network (V-ERN) to recognize and support the incredible contributions of our Veterans, now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED that the Saint Paul City Council thanks and honors our veterans for their sacrifice and service on Veterans Day, November 11, 2022.
