WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Jack Cann, Housing Justice Center, representing Katherine Banbury, to a Rent Stabilization Determination at 720 Seventh Street East #330, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant;
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation is to grant the appeal in part, allowing for a 6.12% increase in rent, rather than the self-certified approved level of 8% or the 7.1% level proposed in the lease renewal, noting the conditions required for this exception to the rent cap at this level of increase have been met by the owner; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
