Authorizing the Fire Department to pay for all costs incurred to hold a graduation ceremony for the BLS Academy on October 10, 2022 at the Conway Recreation Center.

WHEREAS, the Saint Paul Fire Department is holding a formal graduation ceremony for the 10 new BLS Academy graduates on October 10, 2022 at the Conway Recreation Center, and
WHEREAS, the ceremony recognizes the achievement of the new BLS graduates and includes a reception where light refreshments will be served; and
WHEREAS, the expenditure of money for the light refreshments serves a public purpose by celebrating the successful graduations of the 10 BLS Academy graduates; now therefore be it,
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby authorized the expenditure of funds not to exceed $100 for the reception for the BLS Academy graduates.
