(public hearing closed, laid over from November 2, 2022)
Body
The appellant, Friends of Pigs Eye Lake Park - Tom Dimond, filed a complaint stating that the City needs to issue a Stop Work Order on the Pigs Eye Lake Island Building Project, a project regulated and permitted by the Department of Natural Resources (DNR). The zoning administrator determined that the city has no jurisdiction over this work as it is a DNR Public Water body and accordingly, no action was to be taken against the project. The Board of Zoning Appeals denied the appeal of this determination. The appellant is now appealing this decision to the City Council.
