WHEREAS, the position of Director of Saint Paul Public Libraries for the City of Saint Paul is open effective September 16, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Barb Sporlein to serve as the Interim Director of Saint Paul Public Libraries, while a search for a permanent director is conducted;and
WHEREAS, in 2019 Barb Sporlein joined theSaint Paul Public Library as Digital Services Manager and Deputy Director of Operations; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment, made by the Mayor, of Barb Sporlein, to serve as the Interim Director of Saint Paul Public Libraries, effective September 17, 2022.
