Authorizing the first amendment to lease agreement between the City and the Board of Water Commissioners to lease a portion of Board-owned property at 750 Snelling Avenue South for use by the City's Parks and Recreation Department.

WHEREAS, the City and the Board entered into a Lease Agreement dated May 19, 2021 whereby the Board granted to the City permission to enter upon certain portions of Board property situated in the southwest corner of 750 Snelling Avenue South in the City of Saint Paul, County of Ramsey, State of Minnesota, commonly referred to as Highland Reservoir No. 1 following demolition of the reservoir by the Board; and
WHEREAS, the Board has completed the demolition of Highland Reservoir No. 1, thereby making it possible for the City to construct, maintain, and operate recreational facilities through its Department of Parks and Recreation; and
WHEREAS, the City and the Board desire to amend the Lease to more accurately describe and depict the Lease Premises as agreed in Section 1 of the Lease; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Council of the City of Saint Paul approves the attached amendment to the Lease Agreement between the City and the Board of Water Commissioners for Highland Reservoir No. 1.
