WHEREAS, the position of Chief of the Police Department will be open effective June 1, 2022; and

WHEREAS, the Mayor has appointed Jeremy Ellison to serve as the Interim Chief of the Police Department, while a search for a permanent director is conducted; now, therefore, be it

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment, made by the Mayor, of Jeremy Ellison, to serve as the Interim Chief of the Police Department, effective June 1, 2022.
