WHEREAS, the position of Director of the Department of Safety and Inspections was vacated by Ricardo Cervantes, and Angie Wiese was appointed as Interim Director while a search for a permanent director was conducted; and
WHEREAS, after a search process that involved community advisory panels, the Mayor has appointed Angie Wiese to serve as Director of the Department of Safety and Inspections, effective May 23, 2022; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council approves the appointment, made by the Mayor, of Angie Wiese, to serve as the Director of the Department of Safety and Inspections, effective May 23, 2022.
