Consenting, pursuant to Administrative Code Section 24.03(A)(1)(iii), to Dionne Gharamu-Nrumaachi performing work on behalf of NEOO Partners Inc. in furtherance of the City’s Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) focused business technical assistance project.
Body
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Authority of the City of Saint Paul, Minnesota (the “HRA”) allocated $250,000 for Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC) focused business technical assistance in its 2021 budget (the “Project”); and
WHEREAS, the City’s Department of Planning and Economic Development, servicing the needs of the HRA, has undertaken the development of the Project.
WHEREAS, Dionne Gharamu-Nrumaachi, an employee of NEOO Partners Inc. was, within the past year, employed by the City as Project Manager in the City’s Department of Planning and Economic Development; and
WHEREAS, NEOO Partners Inc. partnered with the City and HRA in furtherance of the Project; and
WHEREAS, the City, after consultation, has determined that Dionne Gharamu-Nrumaachi’s work on the Project on behalf of NEOO Partners Inc., to the extent that such may implicate Saint Paul Administrative Code Section 24.03(A)(1)(iii), will neither injure the public interest, nor impair the policy goals of that provision; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that to the extent Dionne Gharamu-Nrumaachi’s involvement on the Project may be construed to implicate Administrative Code Section 24.03(A)(1)(iii), the Saint Paul City Council consents to such involvement and finds that said consent will neither injure the public interest nor impair the policy goals of Administrative Code Section 24.03(A)(1)(iii).
