Pertaining to a Twenty-Seventh Rider to Agreement with the City of Shoreview allowing the City to install electrical lines through a new conduit for street lighting as part of the City’s 2022 Street Light Project.

WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of Saint Paul does possess a sixty-foot wide right-of-way easement adjacent to County Road I to the north, described as the north 60 feet of the south 93 feet of Section 4, Township 30, Range 23, which contains the Board’s Mississippi River Conduits (the “Premises”); and
WHEREAS, the City of Shoreview having entered into an Agreement with the Board dated September 24, 1964 for the purposes of installing certain public works and performing certain operations within Board-owned property in the city of Shoreview; and
WHEREAS, the City of Shoreview desires to enter upon certain portions of the Premises and install an electrical line through a new 2-inch conduit; and
WHEREAS, staff has prepared a Twenty-Seventh Rider to Agreement which sets forth the conditions for said electrical line installation, and which protects the Board’s rights, interests, and facilities; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the Twenty-Seventh Rider to Agreement with the City of Shoreview is hereby approved and that the proper officers of the Board are hereby authorized and directed to execute said Twenty-Seventh Rider on behalf of the Board.
