Accepting the gift of the cost of conference registration and hotel expenses from the Fire Department Instructor Conference (FDIC) for Butch Inks, Steve Sampson, and Jeramiah Melquist to attend the annual FDIC conference to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana April 25-30, 2022.

WHEREAS, the Fire Department Instructor Conference (FDIC) will convene in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 25-30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the FDIC has offered to pay some costs associated with Fire Department employees attending the conference, including conference registration and hotel expenses; and
WHEREAS, the Fire Department believes that having employees attend the FDIC will be beneficial to the City by providing employees the opportunity to meet with fire professionals from around the world; now therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council accepts the gift of the cost of conference registration and hotel expenses to the 2022 FDIC conference, and thanks the FDIC for its generous gift.
