Authorizing the City to enter into the attached Lease Agreement with Tajana’s 11th House, LLC for mooring space on the Harriet Island Public Dock for the Covington Inn Bed and Breakfast.

WHEREAS, The Covington Inn has been operating at Harriet Island for over 25 years; and
WHEREAS, Tajana’s 11th House, LLC is preparing to purchase the Covington Inn from Liz Miller Investments LLC and wishes to operate in the location and manner the City has agreed to with current and previous owners of the vessel; and
WHEREAS, the City believes the Covington Inn is a unique business that brings value to the Saint Paul community and wishes for it to continue operation at Harriet Island; and
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Saint Paul authorizes the appropriate City officials to enter into the attached Lease Agreement.
