Amending Council File RLH AR 21-68 to delete the assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2021 at 520 FAIRVIEW AVENUE SOUTH. (File No. CG2102A1, Assessment No. 210106)

WHEREAS on August 25, 2021, the City Council of the City of Saint Paul adopted Council File No. RLH AR 21-68, said Resolution being the Ratification of Assessment for Collection of Delinquent Garbage Bills for services during January to March 2021. (File No. CG2102A1, Assessment No. 210106); and
WHEREAS, the property at 520 Fairview Avenue South, being described as: Saint Paul Academy Grounds Lot 3, with the property identification number 09-28-23-42-0031 was assessed an amount of $68.10; and
WHEREAS, Public Works staff recommends deleting the assessment as the house was vacant after the passing of the owner’s father who was living at the house which then was rented out to another tenant who moved out on September 2019 and indicated she called the hauler and City to stop service but due to her health issues, this follow up fell through; and
WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer concurs with the recommendation; Now, Therefore, Be It
RESOLVED, that the assessment of $68.10, plus any accrued interests, be deleted. Council File No. RLH AR 21-68 is hereby amended to reflect this change.
