Legislative Hearing Staff Comments:  Application for Appeal fee received for SAO with a compliance date of 7/26/21 (3 weeks ago). Appellant said she received the SAO on 8/7/21. Staff asked if she picked up her mail late, and she replied that could be. Staff found a VB that was timely and asked appellant if she wanted to appeal that instead. She said yes. All attachments are originally for the SAO appeal.

WHEREAS, in the matter of the Appeal of Stephanie Powers to a Vacant Building Registration Fee at 914 COOK AVENUE EAST, the Legislative Hearing Officer has reviewed the appeal and considered the testimony of City staff and the appellant; and

 

WHEREAS, the Legislative Hearing Officer recommends that the City Council deny the appeal, noting the fee was paid; Now, Therefore, Be It

 

RESOLVED, that the Saint Paul City Council hereby accepts and adopts the Legislative Hearing Officer's recommendation in this matter.
